The problem many users experience is that you cannot open. OXPS and XPS documents are basically an alternative to PDF format meant for printing fixed layout documents. The new Open XML Paper Specification (or OpenXPS) is similar to the previous XPS format, however it is not compatible and therefore uses another file ending. The oxps file extension is mainly related to a latest variant of the XML Paper Specification, which was introduced in Windows 8 and used ever since even in current Windows 10.
